Gartner Says Worldwide Software-as-a-Service Revenue to Reach $14.5 Billion in 2012

According to a recently released research report by Gartner, the SaaS industry is set to reach about $14.5 billion worldwide this year.

After more than a decade of use, adoption of SaaS continues to grow and evolve regionally within the enterprise application markets,” said Sharon Mertz, research director at Gartner. “Increasing familiarity with the SaaS model, continued oversight on IT budgets, the growth of platform as a service (PaaS) developer communities and interest in cloud computing are now driving adoption forward.”

New LinkedIn Candidate Profile Look-Up Button

LinkedIn has become a popular choice of recruiters to cross-reference candidate profiles to review and verify information, as well as find common connections.

This process often requires toggling between web browsers, then copying and pasting information back and forth.

Hirebridge has taken that manual process and made it an easy, one-click action that can be performed directly from within each candidate’s details page.

A new button is now located to the right of each candidate’s name. Clicking this button opens a pop-up window containing LinkedIn search results for that candidate’s profile. You’ll be able to see all of the candidate’s public profile information, as well as any relationships you may have in common.

We are continuing to add more direct functionality with LinkedIn, as well as other social media sites, so be sure to share your comments and suggestions with us.

Resume & Document Forwarding

Hirebridge is excited to announce that we have added the ability to forward resumes and documents!

You can now attach each candidate’s resume in its original format when forwarding their information to others for review. Additionally, if you have the Multiple Document Manager, you can now attach them as well.

When using the Forward Candidate feature, you’ll notice new Include The Following Documents section, which provides you with a list of the documents that you can attach to the email:

Simply check-off the documents you want to include and they will be attached to the email. It’s that simple.

Indeed Slips Past Monster, Now Largest Job Site By Unique Visitors

One of the major benefits that Hirebridge provides to its clients is that we automatically submit each company’s public jobs to Indeed.com, SimplyHired and Google. We call this service, “ExpressPost,” and it greatly helps extend job postings well beyond a company’s website to bring a large amount of highly qualified candidates directly into their Hirebridge system.

Today, tech blog TechCrunch published a piece regarding Indeed.com’s recent announcement that it had achieved the status of becoming the largest online job search site:

In October, Job search engine Indeed.com slipped past Monster.com to become the largest job site in the U.S. According to comScore, 12.3 million people visited Indeed in October, up 19.6 percent. Monster.com attracted 12.1 million people, and CareerBuilder.com came in third with 11.3 million job seekers. It is still pretty close, with Indeed just barely edging out Monster. But this could very well be a turning point for leadership of the online job search category.

These are pretty impressive numbers for Indeed.com and we’re thrilled that we’re helping our clients get their jobs in front of so many candidates free of of charge.

‘Hirebridge Unlimited’ Delivers Applicant Tracking Without Limits

CORAL SPRINGS, FL (February 1, 2010) – Hirebridge LLC, a leader in applicant tracking solutions software, has debuted Hirebridge Unlimited. The novel, flat-rate pricing program is the ATS industry’s first plan that removes limits on the number of users, access or accounts. Hirebridge’s new pricing model allows customers to maximize their use of the industry leading online applicant and talent management software.

“An applicant tracking solution should be designed to fit the customer in both functionality and price,” said Jeff Kasten, Hirebridge Vice President and Director of Business Development. “Our new pricing model does just that. Everyone else charges per user. We don’t. We’ve thrown away the status quo and expect this will improve how our customers use and benefit from Hirebridge.”

The new Hirebridge model does not charge per user, essentially removing limits to the number of customer employees who can use or access the application. Pricing begins at $250 a month. Other ATS providers often base pricing on the number of users or the size of the customer. “The industry’s standard ‘unlimited’ plans come with a hefty price tag that is both unaffordable to small- to mid-sized users and wrong for their individual needs,” Kasten says. “We’ve thrown away the need to pay for each user. Hirebridge is right-priced for any organization. We’ve redefined ‘unlimited everything.’ It’s applicant tracking without limits.”
